Robert L. Kahn
Bob’s clients know without question that no stone will go unturned as his rigorous attention to detail is unrivaled.
Dissecting the most complex documents before tackling each and every concern, his practice is concentrated in real estate, business transactions and corporate law, bankruptcy and contract and commercial law. Bob, who also writes appellate briefs in the state and federal courts, has extensive experience in drafting and reviewing leases, purchase and sales contracts, and entity organizational documents, providing cost-effective legal services for his clients.
Celebrating his 35th year with Frantz, McConnell & Seymour, LLP, Robert has also served as a managing partner. He is a member of the Knoxville and Tennessee Bar Associations and was named to Best Lawyers® in the areas of Business Organizations including LLCs and Partnerships as well as Corporate Law since 2015.
Bob attended the University of Tennessee and has an undergraduate degree from there in architecture in addition to his J.D.
Very active in the community, Bob volunteers with various non-profit and community support organizations. He is a past President of the Downtown YMCA Board of Directors and continues to serve as general counsel for the YMCA of East Tennessee. He is also a past president and current board member of the City Wide Service Club and a former director and past president of the Fort Loudoun Lake Association. He has also served as counsel to the Junior League of Knoxville and provided legal service for the International Biscuit Festival.
