Understanding and insightful, Michael enjoys helping clients navigate the legal and policy issues they face as much as he enjoys building a case.

Michael joined Frantz, McConnell & Seymour, LLP, after spending the first five years of his legal practice in Utah and Texas. In Utah, Michael worked primarily in municipal and small business law. He then moved to Houston, Texas, where his practice was focused mostly on personal injury litigation. Seeking to be closer to family members in the Southeast, and prizing the area’s beautiful landscape, Michael and his family decided to make East Tennessee their permanent home.

With a background that includes a master’s degree in public policy and management as well as a law degree, Michael excels at getting to the bottom of things. His main practice areas are real property and personal injury litigation, but he also works in government law, consumer protection, construction law and business litigation.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys arboriculture, cooking, live music and—above all—spending time with his family.
