Attorneys and staff of the firm volunteer to help with various non-profit organizations throughout the year.
Recently, the attorneys and staff volunteered their time to sort food at Second Harvest Food Bank. In addition, the firm and staff sponsored a child through the Second Harvest Backpack Program for one year.
Second Harvest operates several hunger-relief programs through their Knoxville distribution center. The Backpack program allows children to take a backpack filled with food home over a weekend, providing much needed nutritious meals.
The staff also raised funds for and participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure run/walk event. As the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, they are working together to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures.
Because of events like the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®, and generous contributions from their partners, sponsors and fellow supporters, they have become the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.
