The Tennessee Jury Verdict Reporter, an independent organization that studies and collects information regarding jury trials in the State of Tennessee, has named Frantz, McConnell & Seymour the number 9 most prolific trial law firms in the state of Tennessee from 2005 – 2010.
According to the TJVR, during that six year period FMS attorneys tried a total of 34 jury trials in the state of Tennessee.
Donald Howell was also named one of the most prolific individual trial attorneys during this period having tried a total of 10 jury trials.
John Lawhorn represented the defendant 8 times from 2005-2010 and obtained a defense verdict in 6 of those trials.
Francis “Snake” Cain and Benjamin C. Mullins each tried 5 jury trials in that period. Of his 5 trials, Mr. Mullins obtained 4 defense verdicts on behalf of his clients.
Richard Scrugham tried 3 trials during this period and obtained a defense verdict.
Beverly Nelms tried 2 jury trials during this period. One was a defense verdict and the other was an award of the medical bills only.
Also trying jury trials in this period were Arthur G. Seymour, Jr., Michael Ewell, Debbie Fulton and Reggie Keaton.
FMS is very proud of its listing as one of the most prolific trial law firms in the state of Tennessee especially considering it is one of the smallest firms on the list. Most of the other firms listed by the TJVR have several more attorneys in their firm and multiple offices across the state of Tennessee. FMS prides itself on the experience and personal attention it can bring each of their clients from the initial consultation through a jury trial when necessary.
