Michael joined Frantz, McConnell & Seymour, LLP, after moving from Houston, Texas. Seeking to be closer to family in Tennessee, Georgia, and the Carolinas, and prizing the beautiful lands of southern Appalachia, Michael and his family decided to make East Tennessee their permanent home.

Focusing primarily on trial practice, Michael enjoys building and proving cases. He is a determined investigator who can break down technical or complex details to find what really matters. One of his greatest strengths, though, is communicating that information in a way that is easy for others to understand.

Michael’s main practice areas are construction law, contract disputes, consumer protection, fraud claims, and real estate litigation.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys arboriculture, hiking, outdoor cooking, and spending time with his family.
