FRANTZ, MCCONNELL & SEYMOUR, LLP
OUR HISTORY
Frantz. McConnell & Seymour, LLP traces its roots in the East Tennessee legal community to the autumn of 1902 when the firm of Cornick, Wright & Frantz was formed with offices in downtown Knoxville.
Over the course of the next ten years, they added Charles M. Seymour (grandfather of Arthur G. Seymour, Jr.), Thomas G. McConnell and Robert M. McConnell.
In 1920 the firm name was changed to Frantz, McConnell & Seymour, and it has carried on the practice of law in East Tennessee under that name since that time.
Over the course of the decades, we have actively represented individuals and corporations that have been an integral part of the stable growth and vitality of Knoxville, Knox County and the surrounding areas of East Tennessee.
Outside the legal community, Frantz, McConnell & Seymour, LLP attorneys contribute to the communities in which they live. We are active in civic and school organizations and leaders in churches and charitable organizations. Our lawyers have served their country in military service during World War II, Korea, Vietnam, and Iraq.
