Once Again FMS is Named One of the Most Prolific Trial Law Firms in Tennessee in 2012

The Tennessee Jury Verdict Reporter, an independent organization that studies and collects information regarding jury trials in the State of Tennessee, has named Frantz, McConnell & Seymour, LLP the number ten most prolific trial firm in the State of Tennessee from 2005 to 2012.

Additionally, for the year 2012 alone, Frantz, McConnell & Seymour, LLP was the tied for the ninth most prolific trial firm in the state, having tried four jury trials in 2012.

According to the TJVR, during this eight year period, FMS attorneys tried a total of thirty-nine jury trials in the state of Tennessee.

Managing Partner Donald D. Howell tried a total of ten jury trials during that period of time.

John M. Lawhorn depresented a defendant nine times from 2005 to 2012, and obtained defense verdicts in six of those trials.

According to the TJVR, Benjamin C. Mullins tried eight jury trials during that period. Of his eight trials, Mr. Mullins obtained five defense verdicts on behalf of his clients.

Francis “Snake” Cain tried five jury trials during this period of time.

Beverly D. Nelms tried three jury trials during this period; two were defense verdicts and the other was an award of medical bills only.

Richard T. Scrugham, Jr. tried three jury trials during this period, and obtained a defense verdict.

Also trying jury trials during this period were Arthur G. Seymour Jr., Michael W. Ewell, Debra L. Fulton and Reggie E. Keaton.
